The North Norfolk Coast is covered in walking trails, circular routes, and scenic hikes, suitable for any rambler looking for some adventure! This area along the coastline has all sorts of terrain. Expansive marshes, undulating sand dunes, and shingle beaches make for wildly varied walks around the coast and surrounding countryside. Bring along your lightweight tent and pitch it up at our site between treks. You can walk along the beaches at Sheringham and Cromer, see the seals at Blakeney Point or take a short drive out to the Norfolk Broads where you can walk across one of the most beautiful parts of the country. At the end of the day, you can return to our campsite and relax around the lake, or set up a campfire and cook yourself some dinner!
There are also plenty of walks right by the campsite! Our site at Holt Hollow is central to beautiful woodland and fields, surrounded by wildlife and all kinds of trails. So, you won't even have to take your ultralight backpacking tent with you for a walk! Simply leave it pitched at our campsite and go for a wander nearby through meadows and past rivers. Whether you need a base to experience nearby walks, or to have us as a stop-off point on a mighty hike, we're happy to accommodate you in your travels!
North Norfolk Camping & Glamping is a simplistic campsite on the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Norfolk Coast. A Hiking Tent Pitch is for 2 people, with 1 person included in the pitch price. There is no parking for a car included with this pitch.
Our natural campground comes with amenities and facilities to make your stay comfortable, while also letting you enjoy the unique natural experience of camping. We have toilets and showers, as well as fresh drinking water. We welcome all dogs to our campsite, but we politely ask that they be kept under control at all times to respect other guests, their pets, and the local wildlife. If you would like to bring your dog or dogs to our campsite, please choose that option when making your booking online. Campfires, fire pits, and BBQs are allowed (following site rules), and the village centre is within walking distance if you need to go to the shops.
If you'd like to park a car on-site, you'll have to add the option when you make your booking online. Please note: Parking next to the pitch is not prohibited for safety reasons; you must park in the designated parking areas. You can check in earlier than the allotted times, just choose the option when you book. Please keep in mind that the site has
no electric and no internet as we are a back-to-basics campsite with
the aim of reconnecting visitors with nature and preserving the delicate
balance of the local ecology as much as we can. Camping water and electric can at times be troublesome, so if you have any medical conditions that require the use of this infrastructure, please do not rely on these facilities being stable as they are in domestic use and we can not guarantee a constant 24 hour supply.
