In addition to this, there is also a shop nearby which sells essential items such as gas canisters, camping equipment and food. The campground is also campfire and dog friendly so you can enjoy a fire under the stars with your four-legged friends accompanying you.

There are many different types of beaches, so it's important to research the specific beach you're interested in visiting before making any plans. Some beaches may have restrictions on camping, fires, alcohol, or even dogs, But here at Camping at mYminiBreak West of Wells Camping & Glamping, we've got you covered.
Our campsite is a short drive from many of Norfolk's Best Beaches, allowing you to experience the best the Norfolk Coast has to offer without any of the hassles. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded beach, the Burnham Overy Staithe is ideal, a short walk from the harbour along a route that winds through some of the most stunning wetlands, filled with birds, that Norfolk has to offer, will give way to vast open sands and sand dunes, a well-kept secret here in Norfolk.
If you would like to take a tour and see the Grey and harbour Seals that visit Norfolk Every year then head down to Blakeney Point or Stiffkey, this is a great opportunity that is not to be missed!
The Norfolk Coast Path
One of the best places to take your dog for a walk is The Norfolk Coast Path. With miles upon miles of hiking through Norfolk's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, your dog will be in sensory heaven with so much to explore! The sea is always close by for a splash to cool off and there are many great places to stop along the way such as Wells-next-the-Sea, Stiffkey, Sheringham and Cromer.
You could hike the entire coast path, or there are many shorter circular walks that take in some of the North Coast Path and offer a variety of places to explore through woodlands and open countryside. You and your dog will have a wonderful time here on the Norfolk Coast.
Holkham Beach
Holkham Beach is well-known for being one amazing beach for dogs because of its miles of golden sand and rolling sand dunes, edged by a pinewood forest. Let your dog have a blast in the shallow waters which are great for getting that doggy paddle just right!
This dog-friendly beach in the UK is also highly desired by kite surfers both amateur and professional. This beach is definitely the place to be for any dog lover or water enthusiast!
Holkham has been the backdrop for many cinematic masterpieces, recently Spencer (2021) featured Holkham and its magnificent beach in a few scenes, as this beach is often frequented by the Royal Family.
As well as being a dog-friendly beach, Holkham also is visited by many horses and their riders, it is a magnificent sight to see them galloping over the dunes at sunset.
Burnham Overy Staithe
If you and your furry friends are looking for a dog-friendly place to explore this summer then Burnham Overy Staithe is perfect. The quaint harbour village is host to a magnificent array of wildlife and wetland birds. The walk from the harbour to the beach is filled with nature with the tides giving way to a different sight every time you visit.
Once you and your dog have meandered your way to the beach you will be intoxicated at the view, miles of pure sandy beach, shallow waters perfect for paddling and a high array of sand dunes that are great for dogs to explore. This beach is very quiet and often you will find yourself the only ones there, being able to enjoy this fabulous beach with yourselves and few others. Take a stroll through the pine woods and you will fid yourself at Holkham then on to Wells-next-the-Sea.

It is one of the UK’s most cherished and outstanding landscapes and has a legal status to ensure its preservation. The north Norfolk coastline offers stunning views, a vast array of wildlife, nature, beautiful beaches and a coastline for all to enjoy
There are many opportunities for bird watching in the marshes at Holme, Titchwell and Snettisham. Take a wildlife walk in the pinewoods at Wells-next-the-Sea. Enjoy watching the Grey Seals that visit us here on the Norfolk Coast at Blakeney. There are so many amazing places to visit you'll need to visit time and time again to see them all!
Paddle to Scolt Head Island
Scolt Head Island is owned by the National Trust and is a small paradise of sand dunes, salt marsh, mud flats, and shingles. It is internationally important for its birdlife. There are just two buildings on the island: one at the western end and the other more centrally situated towards the southwest end of the dunes. This is an adventurous walk that requires tidal crossings and good navigation skills. You need to cross two tidal creeks to get to the island, then cross two more to get back to the mainland. Many people simply cross Overy Cockle Strand at low tide, then spend a few hours on the island beach and walk back; or use the seasonal ferry from Burnham Overy Staithe to keep their feet dry
Take a guided stand-up paddleboard tour out through the creeks and salt marsh of Burnham Overy Staithe harbour and on to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island. this tour will introduce you to this very special place. North Norfolk Paddleboards work with the ever-changing tides to ensure you have plenty of water in the creeks, so be aware that the tour times will change.
Glamping Bell Tents
Here at mYminiBreak West of Wells Camping & Glamping, our Glamping Bell Tents are specifically designed for people who want to escape the fast pace of city life and spend time in nature. Our tents are located in a small rural village on The Norfolk Coast, a beautiful and peaceful area that is home to a wide range of wildlife and has plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and sightseeing.
Your Glamping Bell Tent will be furnished with a big cosy double bed, chairs, blankets and trinkets to make your stay an opulent one. All your cooking needs will be met with a stove, pots and cutlery provided. Outside there is seaside deck chair seating and a firepit/BBQ for you to roast marshmallows and gaze at the stars in our dark open skies in the evening.
Our Glamping Bell Tents are also dog friendly, so be sure to bring along your four-legged friends on your Glamping adventure!
Glamping Shepherds Huts
Our Glamping Shepherds Huts here at mYminiBreak West of Wells Camping & Glamping are the ideal choice for those that want a getaway that is out in nature that still has all the creature comforts of home. With a comfy double bed, inside bistro seating and self-catering facilities, our Glamping Shepherds huts are the ultimate Glamping experience.
Built on a strong chassis and insulated, you will be kept warm and cosy at all times, but as you open your cabin door, you will be treated to stunning views and will be experiencing a getaway in the great outdoors. Outside you will have deck chairs and a fire/BBQ pit to cook with, and to keep cosy while you stargaze in the evenings.
Our Glamping Shepherds huts are dog friendly, so be sure to take your pup along with you on your Glamping getaway, there are many great local walks to keep both you and your dog happy.
