Thursford Spectacular
Once of the biggest Christmas events in the UK, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular does what it says on the tin: provides a pure spectacle in an all-singing, all-dancing three hour performance with a cast of over 120 professional performers! With singing, dancing, comedy, and a variety of other acts, you'll watch in amazement as some of the very best performers in the country put on a Christmas-y show like no other.
Running every evening from 8th November to 23rd December, the Thursford Spectacular is not a show to be missed by any means. Tickets for the 2022 show sold out, so be sure to bag tickets quick if you're wanting to see this spectacular event!

Luminate Sandringham
Sandringham has a variety of events already planned for the Christmas period. Alongside Fairs and Workshops is Luminate Sandringham, which transforms the Royal Parkland into a staggeringly beautiful light show! Working with a "renowned lighting artist", Sandringham are planning to light up a mile-long stretch of the park with all sorts of illuminations, which includes a maze of over 200 Norway Spruce Christmas trees, all lit up to provide a spectacular sparkle.
While this year's event won't necessarily be Christmas-themed, it still makes for a breathtaking Christmas event, with all manner of colours and lightshows on display that make the already gorgeous forests and fields of Sandringham even more stunning in a unique, beautiful manner!

Norwich Winter Wonderland

The Norfolk Lights Express
& Santa Specials
Running from Sheringham to Holt, the North Norfolk Railway provides unique steam train experiences all year round. However, for Christmas, they're putting on a couple of extra-special events on the tracks with the Norfolk Lights Express and Santa Specials
The Norfolk Lights Express adorns the steam train with bright, changing, multicoloured lighting. From your cosy cabin after dark, you will see the countryside either side of the train beautifully lit up in an array of gorgeous colours that accentuates the natural beauty of the forests. Add displays, lights and dioramas on the sides of the tracks, a bar on the train, and a whimsical soundtrack, and you've got yourself an unforgettable Wintertime experience.
The Santa Specials will get you and your kids into the festive spirit with complimentary mice pies and mulled cider for adults, and gingerbread and hot chocolate for kids! Enjoy festive activity packs, as well as entertainers and balloon modellers walking through the train. On the return journey, the train will stop at Weybourne Station, where you'll get to meet Father Christmas himself!
