B&B by the Beach - Horses Welcome
Galloping the Norfolk Coast Beaches
Horse riding is a great way to appreciate our beautiful Norfolk Coast, to get back to nature and explore everything our coastline has to offer. We have an intricate network of bridleways, byways and quiet country roads and our amazing beaches are very welcoming of horses. Holkham is a stand out choice with miles and miles of golden sand for your horse to really stretch their legs and get galloping.
For longer rides throughout the countryside try the 64-mile Peddars Way Riders Route or two 12 mile circular routes on the Peddars Way taking in Great Massingham, Gayton Thorpe and Grimston Heath – details on both Norfolk Route #1 and Norfolk Route #2 found on The British Horse Society website.
To help identify other bridle routes through West Norfolk, visit the interactive Equestrian Access Map for rides and trails in Norfolk.
There are also many top-class equestrian events throughout West Norfolk, usually including the Burnham Market International Horse Trials in April, Houghton International Horse Trials at Houghton Hall in May and the Burnham Market Horse Trials in September.
