Explore towns and villages that are rich in history, with traditional markets and independent shops. Hike our Coast Path that stretches from Kings Lynn to Great Yarmouth, or take a stroll along one of the many routes that detour off from the main trail and into the countryside of Norfolk.     Get Out & About on the East Coast

    When you think of North Norfolk one of the first things that come to mind is the Grey & Harbour Seals that come to visit us every year. Throughout the year you can see one or two here and there bopping around in our coastal waters, but during the winter months, you are treated to a spectacle like no other. Hundreds and thousands of seals flock to the North Norfolk Coast to give birth and to see them playing on our sands is really something special. Head to Blakeney Point for one of the best places to see the seals by boat, on land Horsey Gap is truly stunning.

    For a day of stunning scenery and getting back to nature, Holt Country Park is perfect. With lots of trails to follow, keep an eye out for wild deer, squirrels and muntjacs.

    The Norfolk Coast Path offers many opportunities for adventure, with a hike along the coast through woodlands and over cliff tops. Hike the whole length over a couple of days or take a stroll along one of the many circular routes that take in some of the main path.

    The Muckleburgh Military Collection is Norfolk's largest working Museum of military vehicles including tanks, guns, a large range of weapons, armoured cars, bombs, artillery and missiles used by the allied armies during World War II. A great day out for all!

    North Norfolk has an undulating countryside with plenty of things for both you and your pup to enjoy. There are many great places to stroll around for the day, if lounging on the beach all day is more your speed, there are several beaches in North Norfolk that welcome dogs. Many shops, pubs & restaurants are dog friendly in Norfolk, and they welcome your four-legged friends with open arms, and sometimes their own special doggy menus!

    North Norfolk is such a dog-friendly place to visit, and there are many great places to take your dog for an adventure. The Marshes at Blakeney are home to the grey & harbour seals that visit us every year, and in the summer time there are filled with wild marsh samphire you can forage, mixed with butter and vinegar this will be a surprising treat for you and your dog.

    Visit West Runton our historic coastline, there are many wonders here including opportunities for fossil hunting and finding many gemstones such as quarts and maybe even amber. This dog-friendly beach is a must-see.

    Visit the extensive ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle, a moated and fortified 15th-century manor house, that are a testament to the rise and fall of a prominent Norfolk family, the Heydons. Over 200 years, successive generations of this ambitious family built, then enlarged, and finally abandoned, This picturesque site is ideal for a dog walk and a picnic

    The Norfolk Coast Path has miles upon miles of great walking for you and your dog, with many routes that head off from the beaten path. No matter which part you walk, either straight from your glamping accommodation or further on up the path, you are sure to have a great day exploring.

Our Glamping Bell Tents are located in a beautiful and serene setting, with a host of amenities and attractions to keep you busy. 

    Our Glamping Bell Tents are great for couples, who wish to spend a night under the stars around a cosy campfire. Your Glamping Bell Tent comes with everything you will need for an unforgettable stay in North Norfolk. Whatever the occasion you are sure to have a relaxed stay on The Norfolk Coast. Each of our Bell Tents features a secondary mosquito door, a groundsheet you can unclip and lay flat at the front doors, and pole hooks for lighting. 


    Glamping Shepherds Huts

    Our Glamping Shepherds Huts are perfect for those wanting to spend time with their loved ones in the great outdoors while still having all the creature comforts of home. Inside you have a big cosy double bed, a bistro seating area and shelving with all the added extras you will need such as wine glasses and dinnerware.

    Outside you have a firepit and BBQ, great for cooking in the evenings out under the stars. Our Glamping Shepherds Huts have the best views in Norfolk, looking out over the meadows towards the lake. You will have a fabulous time here and make unforgettable memories.

    Our Blank Canvas Bell Tents are the ideal choice for those that have all the camping gear but may not have a tent or do not enjoy pitching. Our Pre Pitched Blank Canvas Bell Tents are waterproof, come with a mosquito net and are great for all the family or groups of friends looking for a Glamping getaway by the beach on a budget.

    With an outside firepit & BBQ, you will enjoy laying out under the stars in our vast open skies, while being so close to the beach you are practically camping out there!

    I have never stayed at a campsite before - how does it work?

    We recommend that you book your stay (the easiest way is on our campsite's website), then show up on the day. When booking please also understand that site amenities (such as a shower block, toilets and washing-up area) are all provided for your convenience, After you’ve set up camp, head out and explore! If you have any questions or concerns while on the grounds, do not hesitate to settle them with our friendly staff.

    How big are the glamping units?

    Shepherd huts – 6 metres long by 2.4 metres wide
    Bell Tents –  5 metres by 5 metres

    What's in The Bell Tent?

    Our Bell Tents come with Free Wifi, Electric hook-up, Maxi comfort bed, Bedside tables x2, Sheets, Quilt cover, Pillows + Pillowcases, Blankets, Deck chairs x2, Picnic basket, Kettle, Cutlery, Cast iron pan, Cooking utensils, BBQ/campfire and much more!     What's in the Shepherds Hut?

    A cosy little hut that has everything you need for a comfortable stay except groceries. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, there's a log burner to keep you warm, and a gas stove for cooking. You'll have plenty of space to sleep with a double bed, and we'll provide the linen.

    Are fires allowed?

    There's a place to position a fire basket outside each unit, and you can buy charcoal and briquettes at our office. Glamping accommodation also comes with an outdoor, covered cooking area.

    Do the glamping units have electricity and heating?
    All our glamping units have a power supply suitable for small electric appliances such as phone chargers. The shepherd huts also have electric panel heaters and wood burners, insulated.
    Does the glamping accommodation include cookers and kettles?
    Yes – every glamping unit comes with cooking equipment available to you including a small stove, kettle, and toaster.
    What should I bring for cooking and eating?

    We will provide you with the essentials for cooking, like a stove and kettle. You should bring some other useful items too, like tea towels, dishcloths, bin bags and washing up liquid. And don't forget the food, drinks, tea and coffee you like.

    Can I charge my phone, camera or tablet?
    There is a mains power point in all the units. There’s also a charging station in the office(with a small fee) for mobile phones, tablets and small laptops. 
    Can I bring candles and tea lights?
    You can bring battery-operated lights. No naked flames are allowed inside any of the glamping units.
    What will I receive to confirm my booking?

    Once your booking has been processed, you’ll receive a confirmation booking invoice by email.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    Deposits are not refundable because they cover the administration cost of making your booking. If you have paid your balance in full and you cancel at least 28 days before your arrival date, we will refund the balance less the deposit.
