Here at our romantic getaway in Norfolk, most of the 1500 acres of land surrounding us is part of the Wild Ken Hill Estate, which is a rewilding project that's all about returning land back to its natural state. The project will also be re-introducing populations of wild animals to the land some of which will include beavers, cattle, and wild boar and encouraging birdlife such as kites, barn owls and more. The rewilding project includes the reworking of freshwater marshes to encourage bird life from local RSPB Snettisham to populate the autumn wetlands found along the coastal path. This area is easily accessible via the Coastal Footpath by the beach and is practically on our doorstep!
